    1. Thank you! Yes, as soon as we saw those snack packs, we thought “how perfect, they’re trick-or-treat sized!” Good luck, going to pick soon!

    1. Sounds like a great plan! Did you know participating dentists offices will pay your kiddo (or you, if you’ve already taken it from him) $1 per pound of unwanted candy and then ship it overseas as care packages for our troops? You can see more details in my “Make a Plan for your Unwanted Candy” post. Good luck on the giveaway, going to pick soon!

    1. Thank you so much! I was just asking him to make goofy faces to loosen up, and realized when looking through them that they told the perfect story! Good luck, going to pick soon!

    1. We gave all kids a choice between candy and non-food treats last year, and the toys were equally as popular! I think this is a great way to do it! Good luck, going to pick soon!

    1. I’m getting ready to give out glow sticks for my son’s birthday celebration. Kids do indeed love them! Good luck, going to pick soon!

  1. I am excited to participate in the Teal Pumpkin Project this year at my son’s schools trunk or treat. Should be so fun and I hope to help educate people 🙂

  2. Aw, this looks like such a sweet idea. :3 I love how inclusive the Teal Pumpkin Project is! I missed out on a lot of Trick-or-Treating fun as a kid, but Halloween still stayed my favourite holiday!

    1. I didn’t miss too much, mostly just Almond Joys and Heath Bars that I had to give away. I don’t really mind taking the unsafe peanut and egg candy from my kiddos either, they still end up with so much of it. But I love how inclusive and empowering teal pumpkins are for this community! Good luck, going to pick soon!

    1. Cool. Are you making your own playdough? If not, make sure the kids who take the store bought stuff don’t have a wheat allergy.

    2. That’s so great to include the Enjoy Life cookies! I’ll bet kids will be thrilled! Good luck, going to pick soon!

    1. I think we’re overstocked in the non-food treat department around here. But that’s okay, it keeps until next year! Good luck, going to pick soon!

  3. I love the teal pumpkin project and everything it stands for. This is my first year doing it and it’s been a great way to teach my younger cousins about food allergies. My youngest cousin already knows have to use an epipen (he saw it on the Simpson’s…. and it was correct!) and he’s very conscious about not accidentally giving me a reaction. He’d absolutely love the bucket, because he could show it off to all his friends (he’s super proactive about this. It’s wonderful, he’s a sweet kid, and he doesn’t even have food allergies!) and it would be great to be able to hand out the Enjoy Life in the neighborhood. We’re hoping to do some small toys, but we’re not sure if we’ll be able too. If not, we may print out some coloring pages online and make little books for them. 🙂

    1. Sounds like you’ve got some great advocates on your side! Cool to hear that the Simpson’s correctly demonstrated an EpiPen 😀 I wouldn’t have necessarily expected that of them. I’m sure kids would enjoy little toys or coloring pages, how fun! Good luck, going to pick soon!

    1. Yes indeed, Karen W. They were announced in the Rafflecopter widget and have been contacted. Thanks for entering, and stay tuned for the rest of October!
